Paprika, a pepper variety in the nightshade family (Solanaceae), is grown for its thick, mild fruits. Bell peppers, or paprika, are a group of varieties belonging to the annual nightshade family. In some Arab countries, they are also called "cold sea" peppers and are available in green, yellow, red, and orange.
